Program Description

Our SMS/text-message program may send messages related to our recycling-center services, including:

Appointment confirmations, reminders, changes, and cancellations
Commercial pickup, delivery, dispatch, loading, unloading, and scale-house communications
Account, transaction, payment, ticket, and customer-service notifications
Recycling-center hours, holiday closures, facility updates, and material-acceptance information
Recycling events, community announcements, promotions, and special offers, where you have opted in to receive marketing messages

Consent and Enrollment

You may opt in to receive text messages by texting an advertised keyword to our business phone number, checking an optional SMS-consent box on an approved form, providing separate written consent, or replying affirmatively to a documented SMS enrollment request.Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.In-Person Verbal Consent: Customers may also opt in in person at the A-1 Hesperia Recycling counter. Before an employee manually enters a customer’s mobile phone number or sends any SMS message, the employee asks: “Would you like to receive text messages from A-1 Hesperia Recycling Company, Inc., including a copy of your payment receipt and transaction-related customer-service updates? Do you agree to receive these text messages?” The customer must provide affirmative verbal consent before their mobile phone number is entered or an SMS message is sent. A-1 Hesperia Recycling Company, Inc. documents the customer’s consent in the related transaction record, including the date, time, phone number, employee, consent method, and disclosure version.

Message frequency varies. The number of messages you receive depends on the services you request, appointments, account activity, customer-service needs, and communication preferences you select.

Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile service plan. Contact your wireless carrier for information about your plan.

Opting Out

You may opt out of receiving SMS/text messages at any time by replying STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any message from us.

After you opt out, we may send one confirmation message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. Unless you opt in again, you will not receive further automated SMS messages from us.
